Help me off the bed

The well has run dry

Too long in these dead broken lands

We all hear the call
The thirst in us all
That leads us to water

The feathered and furred
The beast and the bird
All meet at the water

Letting the world swim in me
I swim in the water

How long has it been
Since these eyes have seen
The moon on the water?

The words that we sing
Our gods and our kings
Mean nothing to water

May it be the last thing I know
My feet in the water
